How fun is this?

When you live so far away from anyone related, it's super fun to take ANY opportunity to see some of the same blood! So, when my sister told me her team was going to have a one hour lay-over at the Albuquerque Airport while on their way to play a soccer game in Louisiana...you better believe I planned that one in my day! Gary and I even bought her lunch! It was SO fun to see her! Hopefully next time she'll stay a little longer!...and maybe next time YOU fly throught Albuquerque, you might think about giving me a call! - I guess I should mention here that the first thing she said to me after she got off the plane was "Man, Albuquerque is a big brown city with a majorly muddy river running through it." Should I be insulted?

Crafty-ness

If you ask any of them, they MIGHT tell you no, but let these pictures prove to you, that yes, they are totally 'crafters!'

A bunch of us ABQ girls got together one night a few weeks ago to be 'crafty' We made some darling wood blocks that say "Harvest" for the Thankful Season we are now entering. Here they are working hard! This was serious stuff! This was so much fun! Fun mostly to all get together for a fun night of chatting, eating, and playing...er...craftingLook how YUMMY! I honestly think I ate half of everything there!Look how CUTE!! I can't wait for our next one!!

Utah Continued

In addition to watching the Cougars play, one reason I was really excited to visit Utah was to see THIS new beauty. She makes the THIRD grandchild (all girls) on my side of the family. We're just starting out, Gary's got almost 30 on his side! Let it be known that Gary actually held Brynlee FIRST, she doesn't look too happy and relaxed in those pictures does she?? Hmmm, did you see the picture of ME holding her SECOND? She told me I was her favorite aunt!

This is the crazy big sister, it was fun to see her too! I didn't take a picture of it, but she and Stephanie colored a cute sign and taped it to the outside of my Parent's door "Welcome Gary and Tara!" She also got to stay up late at my parent's house until we got there and when we walked in the door, I'm pretty sure Haley about wet her pants because she was so excited to see me, er, US!

Where do I begin?

OK, I've been a very very bad blogger. I'm so sorry! So, Gary and I made a VERY VERY quick trip up to Utah three weeks ago for a BYU Football Game. The man HAD to hit a live game at least once this season! It was just killing him to watch these games on TV at home and not be there.

We had legacy seats so yes, we enjoyed a fabulous lunch before the game...
And yes, a CHOCOLATE fountain that I could not get enough of, during half time L.O.V.E chocolate fountain! (and apparently Gary couldn't get enough pictures of me by the chocolate fountain as well)

GO COUGARS!!!
I don't know, for some reason we thought we needed pictures of us cheering during the fight song.
