Lots of pool

We basically hit the pool every day and all day. It was fabulous! This is a picture of our pool, slide and all. HEAVEN! Haley loved sharing my floaties with me Of course, we had WAY too much fun on the slide doing things that usually only kids doAnd there were a few other random games played...
I need everyone elses pictures because we had a lot of fun, but these pictures just don't capture ALL of it!

Let there be sun

While in Phoenix, we hit up the Zoo. I'm sure we totally looked like tourists because everyone else there, oh yea, there was no one else there! Pretty sure most of the animals didn't even show up for work that day. It was SO hot we couldn't find most of them anywhere! But, we still had fun!

And, once again...I stunk up the picture taking. This was about it from the Zoo. But everyone else has way more and much better pictures!

And we all went to Phoenix

My family all met down in Phoenix for a very relaxing week of fun and sun. Gary and I decided to start our little vaca a little earlier and visit his Sister for a few days before the rest of the family arrived. Believe it or not (and I'm so mad about it) these were the only pictures I took the whole weekend! We went bowling and had lots of fun!

It sure was fun to see everyone! Hopefully we'll make another trip out there again soon!

Swim Suit Season is HERE! Yikes.

So, I was packing for Phoenix the other day and this 'prompting' hit me that maybe I should try on my shorts and swim suits before I pack them...since it has been a year since I last wore them. BAD idea. That winter hybernating thing is always a bad idea. And THESE sure didn't help the situation. I've made these bad boys a few times in recent months and they are TOO good to eat just one! :) Pretty sure ALL the credit goes to the recipe and has NOTHING to do with any skills I may or may not have when it comes to baking. Ya'll might want to try this recipe out some day very soon!
