Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

A few minutes ago Gary called all excited about his new blog. I checked it out and decided that since he was the second person to tell me I should get my own blog, I'd do it. So, here I am...sitting on my couch, wishing I could figure this out a little quicker, and waiting for Gary to show up at my house. Basically, I'm wasting precious time right now. I teach Sunday School and should be using ALL my free time in preparation for my lesson tomorrow but this blogspot thing has caught my attention in a bad way. It's memorial day weekend and hopefully some fun and exciting stuff will go down in Provo, UT. We're hoping to gather friends and famly from all corners of the state for a serious game of steal sticks. Steal Sticks is a game my Grandpa Salmon taught all the grandkids about 20 years ago. It became the famous game we'd play ANYTIME the family was gathered together. For the past week it's been near record highs and I've been DYING to go swimming. The only problem is that the pools aren't open until later in May (today actually is the day most open). Ironically enough, today is a very cold and windy day. No swimming here. Yesterday Gary and I went and got season passes to 7-Peaks for the summer. Now that we've got an "all access" pass to a pool, we just need the sun to come back!
