Three wonderful years of wedded bliss! We just got back from a fun little trip to celebrate...which I'll blog about soon! 
Our wedding day was one of the best days of my life, not just because it was such a fun day but because since that day, I've been able to share every day with my best friend in the whole wide world! Just this past week we were talking and both agreed at how amazed we still are each day at how awesome it is to have each other to go through everything together. You think you love each other as much as you possibly can when you get married, but looking back...it was nothing compared to how much I love Gary today! 
I'm sure many of you passed your three year mark a few years ago, but I can't believe it's already been three years for Gary and I. Gary is such an excellent husband and I just know he'll be an amazing father. I think we really compliment each other nicely...he fills my many weak gaps and helps me to be a better person in so many ways. I'm SO lucky. There isn't anyone else in this world I'd rather go through life with than Gary.

seriously can't believe it's been three years! Did you know that the very first date I had with Lyle was the first full day you were married (tomorrow), August 12? Well it was...and that is WEIRD! Time sure does fly. I wished I could have made it to that reception (it looked like a blast). That darn CEDAR HILLS made me work if I remember correctly...grrr. Back to the point. I love you guys and am so happy for you! And just remember...you'll always be one year ahead of me ;)!
Happy Anniversary kids!! You write so well Tara...I got a little misty reading this post. BUT I'm sooooo soooooooo glad it's Gary and Tara (or Tara and Gary)! I can't tell you how HAPPY I am that TARA is HAPPY Gary. Tara and I go WAY BACK and the only thing I've ever wanted for that girl is true happiness....thank you for being her "true happiness"! Love ya both!! Eat some cake today!
Wow three years! Congrats you two. Glad you went on a SWEET cruise to celebrate. We are insanely jealous that we can't get away like that. You'll be glad you went on a great trip before baby Fears comes along.

Ok your hilarious! So sorry I didnt see your post before now! Im just barely getting to the point where I feel really good after my surgery.
I will send you that blackened chicken recipe when I find it....its kinda 3:00am and I'm not sure where it is! I love it too, not everyone likes me to make it and there are a lot of fire jokes because of the smoke! Ha ha....but I love it too I will have to make it again.
ok SO the infamous vanilla bean! When you buy the bean you split it open down the crack and then use a knife and scrap out all the insides. The consistency inside is kind of like a paste already, but all it is is thousands of little bitty seeds! And really nothing compares...it's easy and definitly worth it to buy.
Now that I'm feeling better I can finally start to cook again!
