As of last Sunday, here I am...belly and all at 30 weeks pregnant. I guess technically, I could start counting down now since I'm down to single digit weeks left, but I'm too nervous to count down. Nervous for that ONE moment I'm counting down to...you know what I'm talking about!
Things I'm experiencing lately:
Cravings:Quesadillas...everyday still! Don't even ask me how I gained 20 pounds.
Crisp, Cold Green Salad - Picky on the crisp and cold details.
Hot Cereal, especially Cream of Wheat. Two whole boxes already gone...yummy!
Heart Burn:
YES YES YES! It's a good thing no one told me about this BEFORE I got pregnant. It's HORRIBLE!
Sleeping:
NOT so much happening. Right side makes me nauseous. I think I'm getting bed sores on my left hip and shoulder.
Running:
Oh yes! I'm considering myself super lucky that I'm still able to run. Might be a 12 minute mile, but by golly, I'm doing it! My legs hurt really badly so I have to stop half way and massage them, and then I'm good to get home. It's the PERFECT time of year to run in the mornings around here.
Kicking:
Wow, pretty sure this kid has a black belt already! Even though it's starting to be a little bit uncomfortable, it's still really cute and amazing and I will never tire of watching my stomach move in strange ways. I still just think it's the craziest thing that there is another human inside moving around. It just doesn't seem normal. But I'll take it!
Braxton Hicks:
Just started this last week...lots. :)
Weight Gain:
Uh, no thanks. Make it go away.

Thanks for the play-by-play. Sounds like you're having fun though...even if it's a little uncomfortable. Kudos to you for keeping up with the exercise! AND...the quesadilla sounds so good right now...good thing I know it's not a pregnancy craving...that would be...well...LOTS of things!
You look fabulous! Of course you have gained weight but let me tell you, it will go away so fast, especially because you're still in such good shape. I could never run while I was pregnant because I was worried about miscarrying again. Even so, I lost the weight really fast the first time, and decently fast the second time, now it's just keeping it off that's a pain! Good luck with the last ten weeks.
By the way, your link to my blog is really old. It has since changed to www.musicalsmiths.com/blog.
You are SO CLOSE! And don't worry about "the big day"...Heavenly Father makes you so miserable at the end that you are willing to go through ANYTHING to have a cute little baby by your side! And honestly, if I could just skip the pregnancy part and go straight to the going into labor part I would. We women are amazing and even though it is a lot of work, it is 100% worth it. Don't worry. Love you!
I'm with Jess, don't worry about the big day! I would do labor and delivery for everyone I know just to never be pregnant again!! PS send me your address for your delivery care package ;)
Hey Tara, it was so much fun to see you while you were here, even if it was just a short hello. I'm sorry about the heartburn, it must be a boy thing. I didn't know what heartburn was until my 3rd (boy) pregnancy. No fun!
You are absolutely adorable! Heart burn. Awful. I had no idea until those babies came around.
Wish I could have been there for your baby shower! My mom said it was great.
Good luck! You have a lot of excitement ahead of you.
I can't wait to see what baby fears looks like! love you.
You look so cute. Also I'm not pregnant and I have all the same cravings as you. Quesadillas everyday. HA
Fun stuff, still looking great. Glad everything is going well, we are on a countdown with you as well.
BTW, you can take Prilosec OTC when pregnant. Take one each morning with your prenatal. Prilosec saved my life with my last pregnancy. Zero heartburn! Talk to your doc and see if he is okay with it. Mine was.
