It's already been a month since Sam became a part of our family. While I can't remember what it was ever like without him, I also can't believe it's already been a month! It can't have been that long! He's already changed so much...I'm sure I'll be saying that a ton in the future. Right?
Three days after Sam was born, we packed the truck and drove to Utah. Call me crazy...I do...but I had my mind made up before this child was born "I would be in Utah for Christmas" - I figured, if I'm going to be in bed recovering, I might as well be in bed in Utah...and that's basically all I did while I was there...saw some family and chilled in bed or on the couch (and diapered and fed the adorable child). It wasn't really the trip to be visiting with friends, although I desperately wanted to see ALL of you! You all understand, right? I'll be back! Promise.
OK, here's what you've been asking me for...pictures to prove just how cute this little man is!
This is Gary and Sam...Sam is one week old here. 
During Christmas we went to Temple Square for some light action...a tradition I LOVE!
New Years Day...Sam is 12 days old.
And this is Sam now...
I don't know if this kid loves the bath or just doesn't know how to cry. He doesn't cry at all when I bath him which makes for a very pleasant experience. Although, I have to admit, I still have yet to hear him cry. Whimpers...sure, but CRY? Nope. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he figures this crying thing out, but until then, I'll consider myself one lucky mom.

Okay, first of all, he's adorable! Secondly, you are CRAZY!!! I can't believe you drove to Utah with a 3 day old baby. I can't even imagine. I did it with a 3 MONTH old baby and it was hell. Then I was dumb enough to do it again a month later. And third, he doesn't cry? You are one lucky woman! Anyway, you look fabulous and I'm so happy for you.

Good for you going to Utah, I would have done the same thing. You hurt in the car or you hurt at home, at least your on your way to see Grandma! He's adorable, but tell me about this blue sink! The whole bath is very color coordinated!
He is already looking so big! He looks a little bit like Gary now (to me atleast) I can't believe it has already been a month and I also can't believe he doesn't cry. What a cute little boy. Love ya.
