So, my house is probably not the CLEANEST house you've ever seen. But, there is one thing that absolutely drives me nuts! The yucky soapy junk you get all over from doing laundry as seen in the picture below. When I had a top loader I had my problem solved for the most part. The cap from the laundry detergent would go into the washer with the soap and laundry and when the load was finished, my cap was clean and I would just put it back on the soap container. Genious...at least I thought I was. For the softener, I bought one of those little balls that you fill & pop in your washer with the load. Then about once a week, I'd take a rag out of the clean (wet) load I just washed - and wipe down my washer and dryer and then toss it back in the dirties. I really liked my system.
Now I have a front loader and I just can't do that anymore. So, I'm back to my messy, soapy containers and washer. Ugh. I came up with a temporary half-solution but it wasn't making me 100% happy. I'd just slide my soap and softener over my little drawer and dispense the amount I needed which would do away with the need to use the cap but the caps & the top of my washer still got messy with the leftover drips.A while back I came across a coupon for this little bottle of laundry soap. I'll admit, I didn't buy it because it was super cheap. I bought it for the bottle! Although, I really did like the soap, it was just a little too expensive for my liking.
After the soap was gone, I refilled it with my normal stuff. I'm keeping my eyes out for another coupon because I think I'm going to do this with the softener as well. I love a clean, soap free laundry room!

Have the same problem!! Thanks for the tip...I'll have to search the coupon web sites for one....although I'm almost finished a bath and body works regular soap dispenser...that should work eh? I'll have to check it out.
I love you! Its funny how everyone has their little thing that drives them nuts. Okay right now I have a top-loader and I do put my soap cup right in with my wash, but I certainly have front-loader envy. SO if I'm ever lucky enough to get a front-loader, I will have to keep this tip in mind.
