OK, this is going to be backwards because I loaded my pictures up wrong and I'm too lazy to change it all.
Over the Valentine's Day weekend, Gary and I went to Phoenix to meet up with some of my family to watch Lincoln compete in a soccer tournament. The weather was perfect and Gary and I even snuck in a nice morning run in shorts and a t-shirt! It was awesome...followed up by a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
It did get a little chilly at night, we weren't really prepared for the cold.
After the game we had ourselves a nice Valentine's meal at Cheesecake Factory. Oh how I love that place!
We also dropped by Gary's Sister's place to say hi to them. They hadn't met Sam yet either so it was fun for them to finally meet. I'd been telling him all about his cousins. I think Sam was a bit overwhelmed. And would you check out Eliza's big ol' grin?!? I love it!

Sam and Owen are about four months apart. Do you think they sort of have the same shape eyes? I guess they ARE cousins.

On our way out, Gary stopped by this place. This is the place he first told me he loved me. How fitting to revisit on Valentine's Day a few years later.

The week prior to V-Day, my parents were in town! It was fun to see them and hang out. I think they REALLY came to see Sam. I'll take their visit either way!

There is a free Anne Frank display in ABQ right now, so we went to it. It was really interesting and we ran out of time so I didn't get to see the whole thing. I'll for sure be going back before it's gone.

My Mom babysat Sam and my Dad, Gary and I went to the Temple...It was so nice! I've missed it!

This is Sam and I on our first day to Church. Well, Sam's first day and my first day since Sam was born. Can you tell how excited we both are?

And of course, Gary and I had to take my parents to Dions...our favorite joint here in Albuquerque when we only want to spent $10.00 on dinner. We love it! I craved their salad every day for a while during my pregnancy.

A few weeks before my parents came out, Gary's Mom came to meet her 30th Grandchild. While she was there, we worked on some 'baby book' stuff. It was quite the hilarious scene trying to get a hand print!

We went for a drive while Peggy was here and showed her the beautiful grounds at the Albuquerque Temple. Gary's into that whole landscape thing...if you didn't already know.

Lots of this was done while Grandma Fears was here...Sam was LOVING all the lovin' he got from his Grandma!

AND, we went to Texas Roadhouse. Have I ever told you how I eat my weight in rolls and cinnamon butter everytime we go? No wonder I can't get rid of all this baby weight! Hmmm.

You look great! And Sam is getting so big. I told Spencer we were going to have to come see you guys again since you've moved since we've been there. We love it there. Love you.
Cute post Tara, looking forward to meeting Sam tomorrow!!
Loved the update Tara! Can't wait to see you in FIVE hours. Wahoo!!!
You were in my dream last night. How random eh? I can't remember the dream I just remember you were in it. I just can't get over how much Sam looks like Gary!! Austin looks just like Logan and I love it.
What a fun day yesterday! And yes...we're definitely going to have an ABQ rendezvous before the end of the year!! Not kidding. Everytime I read about some place you love in ABQ...I'm making a mental note. Right now, if I've figured it out correctly, I'll have to spend about 17 days there just to get it all in!! Love ya-
